    Update and Run SuperAntiSpyware http://www.download.com/SUPERAntiSpyware…
( I used this to remove spyware and Trojans from a laptop that adaware would only detect but not get rid of ) It detected and removed everything
As for Antivirus Nothing is better in detection removal rates than Kaspersky (Pay) http://www.download.com/3120-20_4.html?q…
    or Avira Antivir (FREE) http://www.download.com/Avira-AntiVir-Pe…
P.S. adaware and Spybot used to be great, but lately they dropped the ball, I read over 100 review before I tried SuperAntispyware to clean a friends laptop, and it is GREAT

If your computer has been accessing the Internet unprotected it is infected.
Spyware has surpassed viruses as the #1 threat to identity theft and without protection your Internet activities are never private.
To get rid of spyware and keep your computer clean you can use an antispyware or even more.
There are top 10 the best and latest anti-spywares in 2008.

All are safe and can be trusted and you can download one.

It is a virus. Use SUPERAntiSpyware, Spybot, Malwarebyte’s Anti-Malware, HijackThis, CCleaner, AVG Anti-Spyware, or a-squared Free. All of which are free and useful. If one does not work, use several because not every anti-spyware program can get everything. Good luck.
PS (I had the same kind of problem and I used all of these before I finally got rid of all of the spyware)
It also helps to get Norton Antivirus, or McAfee

Yeah it’s a virus, try cnet I hear theres resolve there to get rid of it, their trying to force you to buy it, ask at cnet.com, otherwise I think a system restore might work for you, think on when you started getting it, then do a system restore and go back a day before the day it showed up, and pick a checkpoint date and it should work.

I had that too. It was a pain in the butt! I have an Apple computer so all I had to do was dump it in the trash. I don’t know what to do if it is on a pc though.

if it appears only when you are on the internet then its spyware. don’t click on it. most of the time those are just ads to get people to click on them. so don’t just X it out
